Texas DOT chooses Nwave wireless sensors for it’s new HQ in Austin, TX

Problem
With construction of it’s new HQ facility in Austin, TX, TXDOT was looking to consolidate it’s staff and operations from across multiple offices in TX. With the construction nearing facility, TXDOT was looking for a fully-functional, though still cost-effective, PGS solution for it’s 1520-space garage facility.
Solution
After reviewing multiple options, including traditional wired overhead sensor-based and camera-based systems, TXDOT’s management made a selection in favor of a PGS system based on wireless Nwave vehicle detection sensors, based on the its accuracy, low profile, and ease of installation.
In this project data from Nwave sensors were integrated into 3rd-party DMSs (Singna-Tech), and into Client’s dashboard analytics platform – for a cost-effective yet fully-functional Wireless PGS solution.
The deployment highlighted a “unified solution” benefit on Nwave’s wireless solution – sensors deployed both indoor and on the rooftop level – providing a coherent unified solution.
